In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Real Madrid are hoping to land Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are eager to acquire the services of the German international.

Sane’s Impressive Run Of Form At The Allianz Arena

Sane is having a decent campaign at the Bavarian club after putting in a run of productive performances on the right side of their attack. The 27-year-old has found the back of the net 13 times and picked up seven assists in 32 matches for Bayern this season in all competitions.

The German sensation has given a good account of himself in the final third as he is averaging 2.6 shots, 1.2 key passes and 2.7 dribbles per 90 minutes in Bundesliga. He has even been tidy with his ball distribution after making 82.8% of his attempted passes in the top tier of German football (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the German club is set to run out in the summer of 2025. Therefore, it won’t be easy for Los Blancos to secure his services during this upcoming transfer window.

Will Sane Be A Dream Signing For Real Madrid?

Sane has got the pace to make a few dangerous runs with the ball out on the wide areas. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in and around the opposition penalty box and can shoot the ball with venom and accuracy from long range.

The German sensation can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals on the attacking third of the pitch. He is primarily a right-sided wide player but can also fill in as a left-winger or play in the number ten position if required.

We can expect Sane to inject more pace and goals into Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti’s attack. He is good enough to earn a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and could help the Madrid club challenge for even more top honours over the next few years.
