Real Madrid and Club América played a wonderfully entertaining match late on Tuesday night in San Francisco, which eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.
Scorers: Benzema 22′, Hazard 55′ (pen); Martín 5′, Fidalgo 82′ (pen)
Amazingly, it was Club América that struck first, with Henry Martín receiving the ball near the spot and firing past Andriy Lunin less than five minutes into the contest.
In typical fashion, it was Karim Benzema who leveled for Madrid, playing a beautiful one-two with Marco Asensio and curling the ball past Memo Ochoa into the bottom corner.
Early in the second half, Eden Hazard would put Real Madrid in front from the penalty spot after Lucas Vázquez was taken down in the area.
Towards the end of the match, the Eagles would equalise from the spot as Álvaro Fidalgo buried his effort from 12 yards after Vinicius Tobias took Fidalgo down just inside the box.
Real Madrid will take on Juventus this weekend to wrap up their pre-season before they start preparing for the Uefa Super Cup final on August 10th against Eintracht Frankfurt.
