According to journalist Bruno Andrade, Real Madrid have agreed to pay the €60 million fee requested by Palmeiras for the most in-demand Brazilian forward Endrick.

Andrade quotes that the Merengues would meet the valuation in two parts, meaning that they are willing to a part of the mentioned €60 million immediately and the rest will be in the form of bonuses and add-ons.

Real Madrid’s advancement towards signing the 16-year-old was made earlier this week. As the journalist relays, the team from the capital city won the forward’s preference and it was only after this that they approached Palmeiras with an offer.

Having now agreed to pay the €60 million, Real Madrid seemed to have staved off several competitors, which includes Premier League side Chelsea, who were trying to get Endrick through the help of Thiago Silva.

Furthermore, the 16-year-old was also on the radar of Barcelona and even Paris-Saint German. The Ligue 1 side, in fact, saw an approach getting rejected by the Brazilian side in the past.

Back then, it was quoted that PSG agreed to disburse €25 million upfront while €20 million was reserved as bonus, but it was knocked back by the Brazilian outfit.

Interestingly enough, no official word has been released, but it is said that Real Madrid representatives recently had a meeting with Endrick’s father and his agents. And as Andrade quotes, the silence is a strong indication that an official agreement is close.

Furthermore, Fabrizio Romano (h/t Madrid Xtra) is reporting that Real Madrid could close the deal before the end of this month.

Now, it is worth mentioning that even if Los Blancos make an announcement in 2022 or in 2023, the player can only become an official member of the team in July 2024 when he turns 18.

For now, all signs point towards Endrick becoming the next jewel from Brazil to make his way to Real Madrid.
