ATALANTA
Musso 7 – Atalanta conceded the first goal from a misplaced pass from the Argentinean keeper, but he kept La Dea in the game with a few key saves afterwards.
Djimsiti 6 – Could not stop Vinicius inside the box. Naturally exposed, a teammate should have helped him.
Hien 6.5 – Lost the ball that led to Madrid’s second goal, but the rest of the game was impressive. Great physicality. (90′ Palestra N/A)
Kolasinac 6 – A solid performance in the first half. (71′ Bakker N/A)
Zappacosta 5.5 – Suffered a head injury after just a few minutes, which surely affected him. Should have been closer to Djimsiti when Vinicius inspired Valverde’s opener. (62′ Godfrey 5.5)
de Roon 7 – He had missed the Europa League Final with an injury so this match was even more meaningful for Atalanta’s captain. Hit the woodwork in the first half with a deflected cross and nearly provided the assist for Pasalic. Courtois had other plans.

Ederson 6.5 – Tough in the middle of the park. A nice pass for Lookman in the first half, but the Nigerian should have done more to hurt the Merengues.
Ruggeri 6 – It was not his best game, with just two accurate crosses, but he put in an intense performance.
Pasalic 6.5 – The Croat had the best chance in the game, but Courtois saved his header and changed the game, waking Real Madrid up. (90′ Manzoni N/A)
Lookman 6 – Some promising dribbles here and there, but no shots on target.
De Ketelaere 5.5 – He didn’t play much in the middle, trying to stretch the Real Madrid defence and moving towards the wings. He usually has more quality. (62′ Retegui 5)
Coach: Gasperini 6 – Atalanta had nothing to lose and caused trouble for Madrid for 47 minutes. The game changed with that Courtois save but Gasp can be proud of his boys.
