Club América look to be sending another influential player over to Europe within the next coming months.
Spanish club Real Betis are looking to complete their scouting mission and finalise a deal for attacking-midfielder Sebastián Córdova.
According to Mediotiempo, talks have already begun between the two clubs and a move could be as early as 2021.
The 23-year-old first drew the eyes of Manchester United, Benfica, Sevilla and Real Betis back in 2019 and the likes of Ajax and PSV Eindhoven have also joined this year.
Córdova has 16 appearances for Miguel Herrera’s side this season with five goals and two assists to his name.
He scored the winning goal in América’s opening victory against CF Pachuca and recently found the back of the net twice against Tigres to help his side qualify for the Liguilla.
