La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Wednesday been afforded a boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Youssouf Sabaly has taken a significant step forwards in efforts to return to the pitch.
Defender Sabaly has for his part spent the last month on the sidelines, owing to an injury suffered during Betis’ 2-0 La Liga downing of Leganés.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, though, on Wednesday, the right-back was spotted back out on the grass for the first time.
Though Sabaly was put through an individualised session, he is expected to be available for selection for Real Betis’ next fixture, against Osasuna on the far side of the international break.
Interestingly, completely absent from the Verdiblancos’ first training session on the back of their weekend derby defeat was manager Manuel Pellegrini.
MD, though, assure that this came with the full blessing of the club, with Pellegrini ‘in Chile this week resolving a series of personal matters’.
