La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Thursday been dealt a blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation a member of Manuel Pellegrini’s attacking ranks was forced into a premature departure from training earlier today.
The player in question? Juanmi.
Frontman Juanmi, for his part, featured in all three of Betis’ La Liga fixtures to open the campaign, afforded starts in two.
In turn, it marked a source of concern for the Verdiblancos coaching staff to see the 31-year-old limp out of the club’s latest training session.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘The first medical tests that have been carried out determine that he suffers from a slight sprained ankle that will keep him out for several days.’
Juanmi’s status for Real Betis’ upcoming meetings with all of Leganés, Getafe and Mallorca, in turn, is labelled as being in doubt.
News of as much comes just 24 hours on from Pellegrini and co. being dealt a further injury blow, amid confirmation that Isco has suffered a major setback in his efforts to return to the pitch.
