Barcelona were unable to hang on to a victory on Saturday and were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with Real Betis.
The Catalans led for the majority of the clash but could not cling on to their 2-1 scoreline at the end, conceding a 94th-minute equaliser. A stunning strike from Robert Lewandowski saw Barca grab a lifeline in the first-half, but the visitors were not handed the luxury to relax, with Betis constantly on the attack for the rest of the meeting and equalised through a Giovani Lo Celso penalty.
Ferran Torres fired the visitors in front in the 82nd minute, but before Barca could celebrate what looked like an obvious win, Assane Diao clawed one back in the dying moments.
Hansi Flick's side now sit just five points ahead of reigning champions Real Madrid before their meeting with Girona on Saturday evening.
