Reading Women sign Denmark veteran Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen

Reading Women have signed experienced Denmark midfielder Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen on a two and a half year contract.

The 33-year-old, who has made over 160 appearances for her country and scored more than 50 goals, spent the last four years with FC Rosengård.

“Sanne is a great addition to the club,” Head Coach Kelly Chambers told readingfc.co.uk. “She brings a wealth of experience in the women’s game at international and champions league level.

“She is someone that wants to come and be a part of this growing group and make an impact in the league. Sanne is still so hungry to process and wants to push this club with the magnificent group I have already.”
