Sebastian Kehl (in the mixed zone): "We played well, scored four goals, did our bit for the goal difference - I think the fans went home with a big smile on their faces. We can be very satisfied with the second half in particular. We're on a really good track and have taken big steps forward in recent weeks. I can see a great desire, a great willingness to run. We ran six kilometres more than the opposition again. We have to continue like this. We're in fourth place today, but we want to be there at the end of Matchday 34."

Niko Kovac (on Sky): "The first half wasn't good. We took the lead after three minutes, but then we didn't show any aggression. We played too slowly, too sluggishly, no penetration. We were constantly playing through the middle - and our opponents were very solid there. In the second half, we did exactly the opposite and therefore created chances and scored goals. There was more aggression, more passion, much quicker ball movement. We had more runs in behind and that was the decisive factor. The team are now at the right level. But we have to keep going. We won today, but as I said, it could well have ended a lot closer. That's why we'll continue to point out what we need to do."

Serhou Guirassy (on Sky): "An important win in a very important game. And I think all the results were pretty good for us today. That's why this game was so important. We know that we have to take on responsibility. And today we did it. The first half wasn't so good, but the second was a lot better. I hope we finish the season with two wins against Leverkusen and then at home against Kiel. I'm not injured (points to the bandaged knee, ed.). I took a knock, but it's nothing serious. I'll be there next week."

Gregor Kobel (in the mixed zone): "We scored an early goal but were then too passive. In the second half, we gave a really good performance and gave away very little. The fans were with us. It's very important that they're behind us. The coach is doing a great job. He demanded a lot from us right from the start, every day in training and of course in the games too. When things were going well, he always addressed the negative things and tried to help us progress every day. In the meantime, you can tell that we're feeling more and more comfortable with the processes, that the way we play is becoming more and more natural. We now have two very, very important games and have put ourselves in a great position."

Pascal Gross (on Sky): "If you're not the quickest, you have to buy yourself time somehow, and I often use the feint to buy myself metres so that I can then cross, pass or shoot (about his move before the goal to make it 2-0, ed.). For a long time, we've been falling short of our expectations. But now I'm increasingly going home with a good feeling. The past few weeks have been very positive, and not just because of the results. We are stable and can hurt our opponents. Excluding Barcelona away from home, we've been on a run for a few weeks now. The basics are back. Everyone is making runs in behind. That gets the opponent's defence moving. That creates gaps and then our quality can assert itself. That's how we put the competition under pressure. We'll try to get six points - and then we'll see where we stand. After the game in Leipzig, we were a long way off, now we're back in a place where finishing fourth is possible."Transcribed by Boris Rupert
