Seko Fofana of RC Lens is Among the midfielders that AC Milan have been linked with recently, and the player has admitted that there is a chance he could leave this summer.

During a recent video on his YouTube channel, MilanNews journalist Antonio Vitiello talked about what led Lille midfielder Sanches to wait for PSG to make a bid rather than push ahead with the move to Milan that was on the table already.

As part of that he added an interesting closing note: Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are now looking for other targets for the midfield and they could pursue a move for RC Lens’ Seko Fofana.

Fofana spoke during an interview with FootMercato and he was asked about what the future might hold given the links with a move to Milan among other clubs, with his comments relayed by SempreMilan.it.

“For the moment I’m at Lens and I’m very happy to be here, to be able to train with my team-mates, to improve in this preparation. I’m officially here. After that, anything is possible. I want to have fun and take everything I can take. We are in a market period in which there is a lot of reflection. You can tell yourself that you will stay or that you will leave, you don’t really know,” he said.

“Today things are going very well at Lens, there have been new signings, we have a complete team and I don’t see why I should think about leaving. But things can happen, the transfer window is not over, it is true that it is a situation in which many people ask themselves questions. The last two seasons have passed quickly and I still want to have fun. I’m sure I won’t make a decision lightly.”
