RB Leipzig sign Ademola Lookman on loan

RB Leipzig have confirmed that signing of Ademola Lookman on loan until the end of the season.

Two days ago Everton manager Sam Allardyce insisted that the 20-year-old would not be leaving Goodison Park.

However, the Bundesliga club have confirmed that the England Under-21 international will join for the next six months.

Lookman has found chances at the Toffees hard to come by since his move from Charlton last summer – playing just seven games for the Merseyside club.

Leipzig left-back Marcel Halstenberg is out until the end of the season but Lookman, who was part of the England team that won the u20 World Cup in the summer, is unlikely to be able to cover in that position.
