RB Leipzig are ready to make a €20m deal for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, according to Philipp Hinze.

Talks between both clubs are currently ongoing, with the final details and figures being hashed out. The Bundesliga side are also in direct talks with Mosquera’s representatives, who is keen on the move.

The 20-year-old central defender is high on the priority list for the Saxons as they seek to rebuild this summer and get back into the Champions League.

Mosquera has also attracted interest from other clubs. However, Leipzig are the club showing the most concrete interest as it stands.

As things stand, Leipzig are ready to get the €20m deal over the line soon.

Mosquera has been a mainstay in the Valencia side for the past two seasons, playing 73 times over the last two campaigns.

Having come through the Valencia academy, Mosquera has proven to be a success story for the club. At 20, the defender is already experienced in La Liga, having played both centre-back and full-back.
