La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano have on Friday announced a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks.
The player to have linked up with Rayo with a view to next season? Adrián ‘Adri’ Embarba.
Winger Embarba, for his part, spent this past season lining out in Spain’s top-flight, on the books of Almería.
And, despite his side’s collective struggles en route to relegation, the 32-year-old himself enjoyed a solid individual campaign.
All told, Embarba racked up 29 La Liga starts, chipping in with five direct goal contributions over the course of the term.
And as much, evidently, proved enough to pique the attentions of those in a position of power at the aforementioned Rayo Vallecano.
After negotiations over a summer deal for Embarba were kicked up a notch over the course of the last week, on Friday, Los Franjirrojos have officially gotten their man.
As per a statement across the club’s website and social media platforms, Embarba has made the move to Vallecas on loan for the duration of the 2024/25 campaign.
