Shelbourne Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Rayhaan Tulloch, subject to international clearance.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a multi-year deal. A pacey attacker, the Englishman began the season at Bradford City where he made 10 appearances, notching up two assists and a goal for the Bantams.
Born in Birmingham, Tulloch joined West Brom at the age of nine and progressed through the ranks at the Hawthorns.
He made his first-team debut for the club in an FA Cup tie against Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2019.
The winger will be familiar to League of Ireland fans from his time on loan at Dundalk. The Englishman made 18 appearances during his time at Oriel Park – scoring five goals.
Tulloch most recently spent time at Shrewsbury and also counts Rochdale and Doncaster among his former clubs. An underage international, Tulloch represented England at U17 level.
Rayhaan Tulloch said: “Looking forward to getting going and delighted to sign for Shelbourne FC, it’s a brilliant club with ambition and a good working environment. I’m familiar with the league and excited to come back and play in it.”
Damien Duff, Shelbourne FC Manager said: “Ray may of only spent 6 months in the LOI last season but the whole league remembers him. He left his mark with his wonderful dribbling style and his ability to affect games in a big way. He is another great addition to our squad. I thank the board for helping us get the deal done so quickly and also for putting so much belief in what the players are doing.”
Luke Byrne, Shelbourne FC Technical Director said: “Ray is a very exciting signing for us. He is direct and plays with flair and gets people off their seats. He is quite unique in how he plays and we believe he will complement the attacking options we already have. We saw first hand last season while playing for Dundalk how good he can be and we are looking forward to working with him to get even more out of him.”
