After a fractured skull put not just his career but his life in jeopardy, it’s been a long road back for Wolves striker Raúl Jiménez.
The Mexican international made a slow start to this season but he looks like he’s really getting back to his best now and he scored a delightful goal as Wolves took on Everton in the Premier League on Monday night.
Having already opened his account for the season in a win at Southampton last month, Jiménez bagged his first goal at Molineux in over a year when he latched onto a poor back-pass from Everton’s Ben Godfrey before finishing wonderfully past Jordan Pickford.
A heartwarming story.
