Raúl Jiménez has thrived at Wolves under Nuno Espirito Santo and the Mexico international believes keeping him at the club is vital to the club’s success amid rumours that Arsenal want him to replace the recently-departed Unai Emery.
Jiménez has bagged 32 goals in just under a season-and-a-half at the Premier League outfit, who have clinched a place in the Europa League round-of-32 after their 3-3 draw at Braga on Thursday.
Nuno has led Wolves from the Championship to unbelievable success in the Premier League and Jiménez says the best is yet to come.
“He is a very good manager,” said Jiménez. “He is very important for the team. Every meeting, every time he speaks with us, it’s important.
“He knows a lot. There is speculation but we are going to keep working, be the team we want to be and making him better and us better.
“We all know how good he is. We have been doing things since we got into the Premier League, and before that, when I was not at the club.”
Wolves are currently fifth in the Premier League table and will host Sheffield United on Sunday.
