Raul Jiménez is normally one of the most consistent penalty takers around.
In fact, the Mexico international scored a spot-kick against Olympiacos in the previous round to set up this Sevilla clash.
But the 29-year-old has failed from 12 yards this evening – ending a ridiculously long run of successful penalties.
Before this evening, Jiménez had scored 26 penalties out of 26 in competitive games.
But after Adama Traoré was fouled by Liverpool-linked Diego Carlos, the former Benfica striker stepped up and saw his penalty saved by Sevilla goalkeeper Bono.
Could that come back to cost Nuno’s side?
