Raul guides Real Madrid Castilla to promotion playoffs | OneFootball

Raul has guided Real Madrid Castilla to the promotion playoffs from Segunda B after drawing 1-1 against San Sebastian de los Reyes on Sunday.

Last weekend they scored twice in the final minutes to beat Atletico Madrid B in the derby to almost guarantee their playoff spot, with rivals Rayo Majadahonda falling to defeat against Las Rozas on Sunday.

Castilla faced San Sebastian de los Reyes to decide top spot, with the draw giving it to the home side, despite Marvin Park's late equaliser for Raul's team.

The two sides, plus Internacional de Madrid, will now play in a playoff for promotion to Segunda Division alongside other sides from Segunda B Group 5.

Castilla have also guaranteed their spot in the revamped Primera Division RFEF, which will begin next season, in case they fail to win promotion.
