Chivas goalkeeper Raúl Gudiño is seeking to leave the club this summer but has failed to find a move domestically which would suit all parties.

Now, a move to the United States or Canada could be the key to unlocking the best from him.

Former U-17 Mexico manager Raúl “Potro” Gutiérrez, who managed Gudiño in 2012 and 2013, believes Gudiño could become a star should he make the move to Major League Soccer.

“If he decides to go to MLS, it’s a good option because it’s likely he will play.

“Look at (Carlos) Vela, (Rodolfo) Pizarro, Jonathan (Dos Santos), the people who are in charge of their clubs.

“If Gudiño is there, he would not understand why he could not be in that conversation.

“It will depend on your actions and the answers you give.”

Gudiño will be desperate to start somewhere as he’s keen to make the Mexico squad for the 2022 World Cup.
