The likely departure of Paulo Dybala towards Galatasaray in January could put Roma in a battle with Juventus to sign his replacement, Napoli benchwarmer Giacomo Raspadori.
Multiple sources have today pointed towards La Joya making an exit to Turkey next month, as the Giallorossi do not want to let his contract automatically activate an extension on the same wages.
They need someone to take his place and Calciomercato.com suggest Raspadori is a prime candidate, especially as the Italy international has been struggling badly for playing time under Antonio Conte at Napoli.

Juventus are also known to be interested, as their current director Cristiano Giuntoli was the man who signed Raspadori for Napoli in 2022.
Atalanta had also made an approach earlier in the summer, seeing their offer of €25m plus €10m in add-ons rejected, but that was before it became clear how little he would play this season.
The 24-year-old has made 11 appearances in all competition, but he only started two in Serie A, both before the arrival of Romelu Lukaku.
There is also the very real possibility that Roma will try to limp on until the end of the season with Matias Soulé given a stronger role under Claudio Ranieri.
