Hayley Raso has been voted your HSBC Player of the Match after her impressive performance in our 4-0 Barclays Women’s Super League win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Making her competitive debut for the Club after signing in the summer, Hayley came top of our poll on the Spurs Official App.

In her first outing in our colours at Brisbane Road, the Australia international was a constant threat down the right-hand side, completing 100 per cent of her dribbles and had six shots attempted – more than anyone else in the squad.

And, just 19 minutes into her debut, Hayley opened the scoring with a powerful run into the box before firing a low effort into the far bottom corner, getting us off to the perfect start in our opening game of the new WSL campaign.

And it wasn’t just her eagerness to run at defenders that caught the eye, but her willingness to track back and provide extra support in defence. Creating a strong partnership with Ashleigh Neville, Hayley won all her tackles and her aerial duels in the 87 minutes on the pitch, while she won 85 per cent (11) of her ground duels.
