England clashed heads with Wales at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium earlier today as they focused on collecting all three points from this 2022 FIFA World Cup clash. The Three Lions made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Marcus Rashford finally opened the goal-scoring with a brilliant free-kick in the 50th minute. Phil Foden doubled England’s advantage just a minute later before Rashford scored again with a great run and finish in the 68th minute. The Three Lions ended up cruising to an impressive 3-0 win in Qatar.

The English keeper had to make just one save in the game and secured an easy clean sheet today.

RB: Kyle Walker – 6/10

He moved the ball well but offered very little in the final third. Walker got replaced in the 56th minute.

Stones was a rock at the back and was a real threat at the other end of the field as well.

CB: Harry Maguire – 7/10

The Manchester United talent cleared the danger when needed and did enough to secure the clean sheet.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7/10

He was mostly solid when defending inside his half and engineered two good chances in the final third.

CM: Jordan Henderson – 7/10

The Liverpool midfielder made a couple of crunching tackles and orchestrated one good chance in the Wales half.

CM: Declan Rice – 6.5/10

He protected his backline well but could last only 57 minutes.

CM: Jude Bellingham – 7.5/10

Bellingham did his fair share of defending for England and was quite bright and inventive going forward.

RW: Phil Foden – 7.5/10

Foden was a constant menace in the final third and scored a good goal just a minute after Rashford’s opener.

ST: Harry Kane – 7.5/10

The English forward had some bright moments in the game and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

LW: Marcus Rashford – 9/10

Rashford was unstoppable at times in the opposition half and scored the opener with an outstanding free-kick. He found the back of the net once again in the 68th minute which killed the game off.
