Another update in the Raphinha transfer saga was uncovered this Saturday evening. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian has rejected one destination in particular for his future: Saudi Arabia.

While his priority remains Barcelona, Raphinha keeps an eye on a potential Premier League comeback, firmly shutting down any notion of a move to the Middle East. Xavi Hernández’s plans for next season at Barcelona could still see Raphinha offloaded.

Raphinha seems content with his current situation, Mundo Deportivo reports that his preference is to stay at Barcelona, where he feels comfortable both on and off the pitch. However, the financial challenges facing the club cast doubt on his future.

It seems that in order for Raphinha to return to the Premier League, he would need to be presented with an offer he can’t refuse.

Notably, clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham, who previously expressed interest, could lure him back to England, where he honed his skills at Leeds United. Having joined Barcelona for €58 million in 2022, with a contract until 2027, Transfermarkt values the winger at €50 million.
