Raphinha injury update provided after Barcelona’s win over Dortmund | OneFootball

An update on the wellbeing of Barcelona star Raphinha has late this evening come to the fore.

And the news will no doubt come as a welcome relief for all of a Blaugrana persuasion.

Hansi Flick’s troops of course marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Germany for a Champions League showdown with Borussia Dortmund.

The aforementioned Raphinha for his part featured from the off in the clash, finding the net en route to a 3-2 Barcelona triumph.

20 minutes from time, however, the Brazilian went to ground with what appeared to be an injury problem.

Raphinha, from here, was swiftly hauled off, replaced in the visitors’ line-up by midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

With the 27-year-old continuing to play a starring role for Hansi Flick’s side, Barca’s fans had in turn since been awaiting an update on Raphinha’s wellbeing with bated breath.

As alluded to above, though, such supporters need not fret.

As confirmed by Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS on the back of the full-time whistle at Signal Iduna Park:

‘Raphinha: only cramo. No worries. OK for Sunday.’
