Lewis Grabban’s 98th minute penalty salvaged a late point for the Reds, with Marc Roberts heading in on 49 minutes.

Chris Hughton will be looking to end the season strongly and build momentum heading into next season as he looks to rebuild his squad and strengthen it.

Perhaps the biggest criticism you can give Forest this season is that their very talented individual players haven’t stepped up to the plate.

In regards to individual talent, here, we take a look at the 10 Forest players who have had the biggest Transfermarkt market value increase since making their debuts for the club compared to now…

Ameobi has been a key player for Forest since joining the club on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at Bolton Wanderers last season.

The winger has since racked up 81 appearances for the Reds, chipping in with eight goals and 11 assists since making the move to the City Ground.

His performances under Sabri Lamouchi last season earned rave reviews, but injuries have hampered his progress this season.

His market value has risen from £1.8million to £1.98million on Transfermarkt since moving to the City Ground.

His contract is up in the summer, and he will want to force Chris Hughton into making a positive decision on his future…

Dawson is by far the most experienced, established player in the Forest squad at present.

The homegrown defender came through the ranks before moving to Spurs with Andy Reid in 2005, racking up over 230 appearances for the club.

Dawson played in the Premier League and Champions League on numerous occasions during his time at White Hart Lane.

Since returning to the club on a free transfer in 2018, his game time has been limited due to injuries, and he is yet to feature this season.

His market value was obviously £0 when he made his debut for Forest, but after years in the game, it is now at £180,000.

Ribeiro signed for Forest under Sabri Lamouchi from Benfica last season, and he was one of their standout performers.

The left-back had to bide his time before breaking into the side ahead of Jack Robinson, who eventually left for Sheffield United in January.

Ribeiro’s performances and form haven’t been as good this season compared to last, and he has recently lost his place in the team to Tyler Blackett.

With his contract up in the summer, it remains to be seen what lies in store for the Portuguese defender.

His market value has risen by £270,000 since joining the Reds and making his debut last term.

Mighten has enjoyed another positive season in the first-team.

The teenager made his debut under Lamouchi last season and had a few cameos from the bench.

But this season, the winger has been given plenty of starts and has made 21 appearances for the Reds in the Championship.

Mighten has scored three goals and is undoubtedly set for a big future on Trentside.

His market value is only £360,000 on Transfermarkt, though…

Garner has been a revelation since joining Forest on loan from Manchester United in January.

The midfielder has established himself a mainstay at the City Ground since moving from Old Trafford in the winter.

The 20-year-old has made 17 appearances in the Championship with 16 of those being starts, and he has scored three goals as well as chipping in with a string of impressive performances.

When he arrived at the City Ground, his market value on TM was £3.15million, and that has risen by £450,000.

Whether Forest can lure him back to the club on loan next season remains to be seen…

McKenna has made a positive impression since joining Forest from Aberdeen in the summer.

The Scotland international has forged a solid understanding with Joe Worrall and has helped Forest to boast a solid defensive record despite their league position in the table.

The defender has endured a tricky time with injuries and has made only 22 appearances for the Reds in the Championship.

He took a whack for his troubles while winning a penalty in a 1-1 draw with Birmingham City on Wednesday night.

His market value has risen by £450,000 since joining the Reds.

This is a relatively surprising one.

Figueiredo joined Forest from Sporting CP in February 2018, and his performances have divided opinions amongst fans since.

On one hand, there is a nasty, no-nonsense defender who will put his body on the line, but he is also error-prone and lacks confidence at times.

He’s fallen behind Joe Worrall and McKenna in the pecking order this season, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.

His market value has doubled (£900,000) since his move from Portugal to England, and is now £1.8million.

Yates has come on leaps and bounds since spending time on loan at Notts County and Scunthorpe United in League Two and League One respectively.

The midfielder was given his chance by Martin O’Neill in 2018/19 before making a host of appearances under Sabri Lamouchi last term.

Yates is a key player under Chris Hughton nowadays, and wears his heart on his sleeve for the Reds.

Since coming through the youth ranks and breaking into the first-team, his market value has risen to a price of £2.7million.

Forest fans have not seen the best of Lolley for a while now, which is a shame.

The winger arrived at Forest in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign, before chipping in with several goals under Aitor Karanka in 2018/19.

He was always influential under Sabri Lamouchi last season and chipped in with many wonder goals as they narrowly missed out on the play-offs.

Injuries have hampered him this season, but he has made strides of improvement since falling out of favour at Huddersfield Town and making the move from the John Smith’s Stadium.

In fact, since moving from Huddersfield, Lolley’s value has risen from £450,000 to £3.15million – a £2.7million increase.

Probably Forest’s Player of the Season – Joe Worrall.

Worrall has come up leaps and bounds since spending time on loan with Rangers in 2018/19, and was an ever present in the Championship under Sabri Lamouchi last season.

The centre-half has been hampered with injuries this term and has missed a fair chunk of the season with a cracked rib and ankle problem.

The defender has built up a strong partnership with McKenna, though, and it will be interesting to see whether he attracts interest this summer.

His market value is now £3.6million on Transfermarkt, which has obviously risen a lot since he broke into the first-team.
