Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport claims that, contrary to what Roma are saying, the club are very advanced in their search for a new head coach.
Claudio Ranieri is personally involved in the discussions as he looks ahead to his role as senior club executive which will grant him the power to appoint the next Giallorossi manager.
The newspaper reports that Ranieri has already in mind who he wants to be sitting on Roma’s bench next season.
The details of the new manager remain unknown with names like Allegri and Ancelotti popping up in recent days.
Roma’s January transfer business will be conducted based on the profile of the next head coach.
Thus, the search should culminate in the next few weeks, allowing the club to sign 2-3 new reinforcements in the winter transfer window.
