Roma manager Claudio Ranieri reacted to the team’s 1-1 draw with Lazio.
“I didn’t like the match, I found it to be a nervous derby as usual,” Ranieri told DAZN. “But I’ll take the draw.”
“Soule? He has the quality to lead the team. The future is his. He has everything to make his impact felt,” added Ranieri.
“Dybala? Paulo is a leader, he is always with the guys and he is important. For the two strikers I know that we are more effective, but then if I have to change something I have no alternatives because Eldor and Artem are the only strikers.”
“Shomurodov when he comes in is decisive, the team feels safe when he enters the field and Dovbyk feels less alone, it is up to me to choose the best solution.”
“My last derby? As a Roma fan I would have liked to end with a victory but you have to know how to accept it, it’s part of the sport.”
“The thing I will miss the most is the full Olimpico, it’s something that involves you and fills you with pathos and sensitivity, it pushes me to make as few mistakes as possible.”
