Rangnick more than doubles salary leaving Lokomotiv for Man Utd
Ralf Rangnick joins Manchester United on a double-your-money contract, it has been revealed.
The Daily Star report that Rangnick's £3.8m salary in Russia is set to be doubled by United, with his new employers not even paying Lokomotiv any compensation.
Rangnick will double his salary to almost £8million-a-year after he was appointed Manchester United's interim manager.
The 63-year-old will take the reins at Old Trafford for six months, before heading into a consultancy role with the Red Devils, helping to select their next permanent boss.
And the acclaimed German coach, who leaves his role as Lokomotiv Moscow's sporting director, will be well rewarded for his work as he bids to turn the club around following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
