Rangers striker Rory Wilson is undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Aston Villa, according to the Daily Record.
The Premier League side are set to secure Wilson, who manager Steven Gerrard knows very well, for £350,000.
The two clubs settled on compensation to avoid the matter going to FIFA.
Gerrard has been watching Wilson since his days as Rangers boss.
Now at Villa, Gerrard is set to reunite with Wilson, who will provide competition for forward spots in the squad.
Villa are also being linked with Rangers star Calvin Bassey.
