Rangers star Ridvan Yilmaz’s representatives have indicated that the player is happy in Glasgow despite being linked with a move to Turkey, according to the Daily Record.
The 23-year-old left-back has been regular for Rangers since returning from injury in November.
However, Yilmaz has been linked with a move back to Turkey in the ongoing window, where his stock remains high.
It has been suggested that his former club, Besiktas, are showing interest in signing the Rangers star and they are in talks with the Ibrox outfit.
Rangers have already turned down Besiktas’ offer to take Yilmaz on loan and it has been suggested that they have set a £5m price tag on the player.
Yilmaz missed Rangers last two league games, which has raised concern over his future, but Philippe Clement has insisted that the player is out due to an injury.
Now it has been claimed that Yilmaz is not set to move to Turkey, as his representatives have indicated that he is happy at Rangers.
Yilmaz has a contract with Rangers until 2027 and with the Turkish transfer window open beyond tonight, it remains to be seen whether there is a late twist in his transfer saga.
