Rangers survived a Viktoria Plzeň onslaught and a 2-1 second leg loss to qualify for the UEFA Champions League playoff round.
Scorers: Durosinmi 41', Marković 83'; Cameron 60'
The Scottish giants were second best throughout, but somehow did not concede until four minutes before the break, largely due to some wayward finishing and the heroics of Jack Butland.
Rafiu Durosinmi was the scorer, tapping home after Amar Memic beat Jefte for pace and put the ball across the box and onto a plate for the Nigerian forward.
It was more of the same in the second half, but just as the Czech side sensed a three-goal second leg comeback was on, Rangers struck through Lyall Cameron, who poked home Danilo's attempted strike for a priceless goal.
Svetozar Markovic headed home with seven minutes remaining to set up a grandstand finish, which included nine minutes of added time, but could not score again despite having 27 shots in total across the game.
Russell Martin's side will play either Club Brugge or RB Salzburg in the playoff, but the new Gers boss has more questions than answers after another wayward performance.
