According to Gazetta Dello Sport, Rangers are preparing a bid of around £5m to bring Bologna winger Andreas Skov Olsen to Scotland.
Skov Olsen, 22, is already a Danish international but has struggled to break into the first time this season, having started just six games in Serie A.
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has already brought in USA midfielder James Sands and defender John Souttar is close to signing a pre-contract ahead of a move in the summer.
However, van Bronckhorst’s team are still short on recognized wingers and Skov Olsen is believed to fit the profile the Dutchman is looking for.
Although £5m may not be enough to pry him away from Italy, Nathan Patterson’s recent transfer to Everton has left Rangers with some funds to spare.
