Rangers defender James Tavernier doesn’t believe there are any issues with the Light Blues despite giving up a two goal lead on Sunday.

Motherwell came from 2-0 down to earn a draw at the Ibrox Stadium but Tavernier believes recent results show the team’s true character.

“If you look at the two games against Dortmund there is no questioning the mentality of the side,” the 30-year-old said after the game.

“Obviously, we are disappointed in some of the games dropping points but performances have been good and we just need to improve on small areas and results will come.

“We have been here before and we have to improve these situations and see out games.”

Rangers currently sit three points behind league leaders Celtic as they prepare to head to St. Johnstone on Wednesday.
