Rangers interested in Reims’ Oumar Diakité | OneFootball

Predictably, relegation has seen Stade de Reims raided this summer. Key players have left. The likes of Yehvann Diouf, Amadou Koné, Junya Ito, and Mamadou Diakhon are no longer at the club.

However, before the closure of the window, there could be yet more departures. Valentin Atangana is closing in on a move to RC Strasbourg Alsace, although there is also interest from Saudi Arabia for Le Racing to contend with.

Oumar Diakité (21) could also leave the Ligue 2 club, according to a report from Marc Mechenoua. The centre-forward has played two league games for Reims so far this season. The Ivory Coast international, since making the move to Les Stadistes from RB Salzburg back in 2023, has played 63 games for the French club, scoring nine goals in that time.

Ahead of the closure of the transfer window, two clubs are lining up a move for Diakité: Glasgow Rangers and Hoffenheim.
