Rangers fans pick their POTY, and Rangers fans aren’t happy! | OneFootball

Ibrox Noise carried out a straw poll recently on our social media channels, to see who you the reader wanted crowned as the POTY.

As we know, the candidates are James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Allan McGregor and Steven Davis.

And we wanted know who your choice was.

It was pretty clear that you have a favourite, and we weren’t shocked.

In fourth place was James Tavernier.

In third, Connor Goldson.

In second, Allan McGregor.

And your fairly clear winner was Steven Davis.

Naturally, when we revealed these results a number of fans cried foul, outraged Tavernier was last, outraged he wasn’t second or the winner.

But then, you could honestly have any order and the answer would be pretty legitimate.

This is what made Rangers so special this season – any of the four candidates could have won and it be a worthy winner.

Plus the likes of Ryan Kent, Glen Kamara and Alfredo Morelos weren’t even in the running, and none of them had poor seasons, especially Kent.

But no, you chose Davis, and we expect him to come out on top officially too.

We’re sure plenty of fans will be unhappy though!
