Rangers Family suffer second loss in a day as Jimmy Millar passes

As if 26th of October couldn’t get any worse for the Rangers Family than the loss of Walter Smith, the cruel twist of fate has seen former attacker Jimmy Millar also taken from us on the same day.

He was 86.

Millar, a favourite of Walter Smith’s himself, was diagnosed with Dementia believed to have been caused by the heading of the ball in his playing days, and while Millar got 86 years on this planet, it doesn’t make it any easier to lose another legend.

This truly goes down as the darkest day in Rangers’ recent history, and we’re pretty lost for words by it all.

Please let that be enough, and we wish the families of both Smith and Millar the very best and they are in our thoughts at this difficult time.
