Rangers will need to turn up to the Europa League final with the ‘same mentality’ they have been for their clashes at Ibrox, according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge.

And Rangers’ success in the Europa League has been partly down to the incredible support of their home fans, with Leipzig boss Domenico Tedesco admitting it was the ‘best atmosphere’ he’s experienced.

“It was electrifying. That was the best atmosphere I’ve experienced in a stadium so far. It was madness,” said the 36-year-old tactician. “The Ibrox atmosphere basically killed us.”

Bridge told GiveMeSport: “They have got every chance (of winning the Europa League). They’re playing a team who look like they’ve got some incredible support as well; that looked like a proper atmosphere out there.

“My only concern for Rangers is that they’ve done these, apart from the Dortmund game in fairness, it’s always been that kind of Ibrox second-leg atmosphere. This is a one-off game in Spain.

“I just hope they turn up with that same mentality like they’ve been doing at Ibrox where the stadium literally shakes.”
