Rangers have confirmed that defender Jack Simpson has joined Cardiff City on a permanent deal.
Simpson, who arrived in Scotland from Bournemouth in February 2021, made 14 appearances for Rangers having arrived as defensive cover.
“I’m very excited to join the Club. I spoke to the manager about what he’s trying to do here,” said Simpson speaking to Cardiff City’s club website.
“I’m a ball playing centre half, and hopefully that’ll suit the way the team are playing now.
“I’m excited to be here. I want to help the team and play in as many games as possible.”
The 25-year-old is a product of the Bournemouth academy and featured 35 times for the Cherries (including 11 appearances in the Premier League).
