Rangers have confirmed they have parted company with first-team manager, Michael Beale.
In a statement released by the club and published on their official website, they explained that while thanking Beale and his staff for their efforts, “results this season have fallen short of what everyone connected to the club would expect.”
Beale only took over at Rangers last November, having previously been Steven Gerrard’s assistant when the club last won the Scottish Premiership title.
It has also been confirmed that former player Steven Davis will lead an interim management team.
Ragers currently sit seven points behind Celtic in first place in the Scottish Premiership after as many games.
