According to the CIES Football Observatory, Celtic are in 16th in the world with 49,697 fans per game, while Rangers are in 18th with an average of 49,054.

However, those numbers don’t necessarily tell the whole story.

The Ibrox has a capacity of 50,817, meaning they fill out about 96.5% of the stadium while Celtic Park can host 60,832, which give Celtic have sold about 81.7% of their tickets to every match.

So who have the better fans? We’re not going to touch that one with a ten-foot pole.
