Eintracht Frankfurt and France starlet Randal Kolo Muani was offered to Bayern Munich before the World Cup, according to Sport1.
The youngster had an emotional rollercoaster in Qatar. In the final, he was bought on and gave his team immediate attacking momentum and eventually won the penalty which got France back into the game. In the dying seconds, the 24-year-old could have won the World Cup if it wasn’t for an outstanding save from Emiliano Martínez. The rest is history.
As per the report, the forward was offered to Bayern Munich before the tournament began. However, Frankfurt are still planning on keeping Kolo Muani for the 2023/24 season as he continues his development. Having come on a free transfer last summer, the Frenchman has hit the ground running in the Bundesliga.
With 8 goals and 11 assists, Kolo Muani’s transfer value is rising with every game. With a contract running until 2027, it’s unsure whether Bayern will pursue the French international. Should Frankfurt not achieve European football, the forward’s time with the eagles could end sooner than expected.
