andal Kolo Muani has revealed his “dream” of playing in England as reports once again linked him with a move to Manchester United.
A new striker is high on the wish list at Old Trafford this summer, with Wout Weghorst’s loan deal unsuccessful and Anthony Martial missing large chunks of recent seasons due to injury problems.
Harry Kane is a major target, though Real Madrid are also keen and it remains to be seen whether Spurs will consider letting their main main leave, particularly to a Premier League rival.
The Mail claim that United have been told Kane is not for sale and so are considering other targets, with their interest in Eintracht Frankfurt forward Kolo Muani re-emerging and Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos, who netted a hat-trick for Portugal at the World Cup earlier this season, also being considered.
Bayern Munich and PSG are also believed to be keeping tabs on Kolo Muani, but the 24-year-old has made it clear that he wants to move to the Premier League should he leave Frankfurt.
“It’s flattering that PSG are interested in you, like all the other big clubs,” he told Canal Football Club.
“It’s not just because you come from the Parisian region and grow up there that you should automatically play for PSG.
“Honestly, who doesn’t dream of playing in the Premier League? It’s one of the best leagues that exists. You dream about it. These are childhood dreams.
“But I’m not searching for the perfect club or the best club in the world. I’m really looking for the club that will give me the chance to be able to express myself, to earn game time and most importantly allow me to grow.”
