United starlets on target

Norkett then netted his third to match the 17-year-old Spaniard’s goal tally on the day, before Malachi Sharpe scored the final goal of the game for United. Sam Mather was also impressive with his three assists in the game.

United’s academy is one of the best in the world when it comes to producing raw talent, and this batch of youngsters could well be headed for greatness. As for Garnacho, the talented Spaniard has hit the ground running after a strong finish to last season.

Norkett, on the other hand, would receive a huge boost from the hat-trick. Still just 16, he has a long way to go in his career. Here is how the Man United fans reacted on Twitter after the teenagers bagged impressive trebles against Birmingham.
