Manchester United are in a dog fight to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Red Devils currently sit seventh in the Premier League, two points shy of David Moyes’ West Ham, whom they host on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers will travel to Old Trafford and battle it out for another crucial three points in the race to secure top-tier European football.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be hopeful his side can win Saturday’s game – the Red Devils come in off the back of a 3-1 win against Brentford, with the Hammers looking to get back to winning ways after losing 3-2 against Leeds United last time out.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s domestic clash, Rangnick believes the game is so important that it is a ‘must-win’ for the Red Devils in order to keep their top-four hopes alive.

“It’s very important [to win today],” Rangnick told the club’s media. “Not only because of the break [coming up] but also because of the situation in the table.

“We have to win the game to stay competing for the fourth place in the top flight. This is what it’s all about today.”
