Mino Raiola has reportedly offered Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to rivals Liverpool.

Pogba’s future is once again dominating headlines with the France international having entered the final year of his contract, with Paris Saint-Germain having been linked with a move for the 28-year-old before the closure of the transfer window.

According to Le10 Sport, Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has now made a ‘daring attempt’ to engineer a potential move to Liverpool and has touted his client’s services in the direction of the Merseyside club.

The report does say that Liverpool would not be interested this summer, though suggests that they would potentially be willing to look at it again in the January window.

Raiola has been no stranger to controversy in recent years, but even by the super-agent’s standards, this would be a shock move if true with no player having transferred directly between the North West rivals since 1964.

Liverpool are seeking midfield reinforcements following the departure of Georginio Wijnaldum to PSG and according to the French publication are considering moves for Eduardo Camavinga and Houssem Aouar, while Atletico’s Saul Niguez has also been linked.

The sure money remains on the latter heading to PSG if he is to leave the Premier League club this summer, with Raiola’s reported touting of the World Cup winner elsewhere likely just another tactic to further improve a potential contract offer from PSG and line his ever-growing pockets.
