Raheem Sterling “one step away” from Chelsea for €50m
the Chelsea News
Chelsea fans are getting stressed about a lack of activity from their club in the transfer market, but according to Italian insider Nicolo Schira, the Blues are “one step away” from signing Raheem Sterling from Man City.
That’s certainly something of a statement signing – a regular starter from a regular title winner in recent seasons.
Still just 27, Sterling has plenty to give, but it won’t be a universally popular signing with Chelsea fans, who are split over whether he’s the man they want.
It seems like it’s too late to worry about that now though, as the signing is well on its way to being completed and all parties seem pretty pleased.
We’re confident that he can be a strong addition to the side, and score plenty of goals in a well-drilled Thomas Tuchel team. It now seems just a matter of time before he makes his second big career move.
