Rafael Leão 'signs new long-term deal' with AC Milan

Rafael Leão has reaffirmed his commitment to AC Milan by signing a new long-term deal.

The 23-year-old’s existing deal was set to run next summer amid a potential bidding war among Europe’s elite.

But according to The Athletic, Leão has now put pen to paper on an improved contract that ties him to Stefano Pioli’s side until 2028.

Milan moved quickly to tie down the Portugal international after his meteoric rise which helped fire them to the Champions League semi-finals.

He was also an integral figure for the Rossoneri as they won a first Serie A title in more than a decade at the end of last season.
