Curva Sud will not be present for the first day of pre-season, also known as the Raduno, on Monday afternoon. This was confirmed by the group earlier today but unlike what some believe, this is not a protest or a boycott.

On their social media channels, Curva Sud published a statement earlier today and explained why they won’t be attending the training session on Monday afternoon. In addition to the limited squad due to the Euros, there are also no new signings to welcome.

In their statement, Curva Sud outlined that they still have ‘trust’ in the club’s operations especially after the declarations made by the management recently. After getting criticised for being too quiet, the Rossoneri have certainly responded and this was appreciated.

Curva Sud also made sure to welcome Paulo Fonseca, who arrived today, in their statement and made it clear that they will be present at Milanello another day. As such, the decision not to attend on Monday should not be seen as a protest or a boycott.

Using any of those words would simply be incorrect, even if some fans feel Milan should have made a signing by now. With the Euros coming to an end soon, though, there will probably be some movement on the incoming front.
