Racing Club have expressed interest in Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
El Intransigente says Romero is having a “terrible" time at the club already - which could accelerate his return to Racing.
Romero started his professional career at Racing, emerging from their youth ranks to make his first-team debut in 2007.
Racing president Victor Blanco is insisting the door is always open for him.
“A player who comes from European football doesn't come to make an economic difference and always has the doors open, as is the case with Sergio," Blanco said.
“You have to come for the shirt, for the feeling of belonging and for wanting to give something back to the club that saw you grow up."
